Crocheting with a vengeance!

Right, nightmare of assessment week out the way now.  I have a small window before my 7 week placement starts so I will be crocheting like the clappers!!

This exercise for class was only ever meant to take 15 hours, to get a taste of an unfamiliar occupation but I have to admit I'm absolutely 'hooked' now (haha)

My friend located my missing crochet hook at her house from last Sunday when I sat there in the sun of their semi renovated house, drinking my usual 3 cups of Sunday afternoon tea, crocheting away. (My kids think I'm weird taking my bag of wool and hook to their house but I like to justify my 3 cups of tea!)

So I have made many more afghan squares, and I have made myself a lovely cosy scarf.  Still a bit wonky in places but I figure by the time it is wrapped around, it won't be too noticeable.

EXCITED!  Going to my first girls night out craft group tomorrow.  A lovely group of ex-kindy mums have welcomed me into their wee cluster and I will go and experience what 'crafting together' really means.  I understand there is wine, supper and lots of laughs involved so it can't be all bad  :)
