WHY: I wanted a different medium for my creative ideas. I wanted to master (as much as you can in 15 hours or so!) a new handcraft.
Wanted to make lovely pieces to hand down to my kids. I would love to have a 'portable' skill that I can use when I'm waiting for hours on end at kid's sporting events. And icing on the cake would be making pieces to sell!
WHEN: I will be flexible in when I engage in crochet. But there is a class I'm considering starting in May. 7-9pm once a week for 8 weeks.
WHO: You Tube tutorials will be my main 'teacher'. Also may go to the night class for extra hands-on assistance. My neighbour Kate has lots of crocheting experience so I may be leaping the fence.
WHERE: Learning in the comfort of my own home, at my neighbours, possibly at Logan Park High School adult education classes, and may take advantage of those along the way with crochet skills!
