I'm under way...sort of...

Hmmmm, I know I have always had a problem deciphering directions, instructions, recipes, patterns.  Sadly crochet tutorials are no different.  But I am getting there. 

Finding the perfect tutorial is no mean feat.  Some that say they are for beginners have their little fingers flying so fast that I hadn't a clue how to even start the first line.  But thanks to Alice from my class for putting me onto 'Crochet Geek'
She has a lovely sloooow motion part in the middle of her tutorials which I found useful.

I will post the photos of what I have produced so far. 
There are three trials of very tight and nasty chain stitch, and then I actually got the hang of it and made something that almost resembles crochet!!

I have a feeling crochet is going to be a little more forgiving than knitting with muck ups along the way, given it's bobbly appearance anyway  :)
